Bharwaa Marcha

When i saw those pepper corns in super market it tempted me to purchase and then  head strike to make them stuff with something healthy and yummy.. i browse through some recipes ..also i remember my mom has made these once and our neighbor too, so could not resist myself from making it slightly in a different way using my all time favorite fruit banana.. so here comes the recipe.. 

RECIPE FOR BHARWAA MARCHA

INGREDIENTS:
For marcha:

  medium white LONG bell PEPPERS(Peperoncini) -4

butter -2tblspn
GARLIC CHOPPED- 4

Fresh CORIANDER- 1 WHOLE STRAND
RIPE BANANA FOR GARNISHING
LEMON JUICE -1tSPN

For bharwa:

oil-1 tbsp
Cumin seeds- 1tspn
Ani seeds/saunf- 1tspn
CURRY LEAVES-6-8LVS
ONION-1 BIG finely chopped
green chilli-1 slit into 4
Ripe banana mashed(optional) - 5-6 pcs sliced
If u r not adding banana then add pinch of asafoetida for its aroma

Almond pounded -1tblspn
pistachio pounded-1tspn
  cashew nut pounded-1tblspn
Red Peanuts pounded-2tblspn
  Dessicated-coconut -2tblspn

coriander pwdr-1tblspn
chilli pwdr-1/2tspn
turmeric pwdr-1/2tspn
garam masala- 1tblspn
sugar-1tspn
salt to taste


Method:
For bharwa/stuffing:
1)Heat the oil add accordingly one by one starting from cumin seeds to ripe banana mashed let it cook in oil.
2)Then to it all the pounded ingredients to salt .Make sure u saute it in medium flame.
mix all the ingredients well.

For Marcha:
3)Slit one plain side of the white bell pepper.
4)Gently remove the seeds of it.
5)Fill them all with stuffing.
6)Then spread butter all over the peppers from outside.
7) Then take a pan on it add few drops of oil heat it add garlic saute it add stuffed marcha roast on medium flame
or grill it till it gets cooked and burns a bit.
8) Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and ripe banana when they are hot to spread the
nice aroma of both on to the peppers then sprinkle lemon juice all over the peppers to taste good
Serve hot ..goes well with chapati


P:S : Must say this a calorie dense recipe.. Weight watchers can stuff with apples instead of banana.
